Marcin Andrzej Woźniak

Marcin combines a background in molecular genetics with advanced computational approaches, bridging biology and data science to advance diagnostics, forensics, and biotechnology.

Professor at Nicolaus Copernicus University, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. Holds a doctorate and habilitation in medical biology, with extensive expertise in genetics. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers, coordinator of numerous national and international research projects. His current work focuses on bioinformatics and the application of artificial intelligence to biological and genetic data. Actively involved in projects using machine learning and computational modeling to explore complex biological processes—from metabolic pathways to diagnostic data interpretation. His research also extends to next-generation sequencing (NGS), where AI-driven methods are applied to enhance precision in genetic diagnostics and support innovative biomedical tools. Accredited expert, consultant, and academic teacher, Marcin is dedicated to translating cutting-edge research into practical applications.
